WHICH GAS FOR WHICH SEASON? | Propane vs Butane

Not sure whether you need propane or butane? The time of year — and where you're using your gas — can make a difference.

BUTANE | Great for warmer weather
Butane is ideal for many portable appliances, camping stoves and heaters when temperatures are milder. However, it doesn't perform as effectively when temperatures get close to freezing.

PROPANE | The all-season option
Propane continues to work effectively at much lower temperatures, making it a great choice for year-round outdoor use, including caravans, motorhomes, BBQs and outdoor heating.

The simple rule?
☀️ Warmer weather → Butane can be a great choice
❄️ Colder weather → Propane is usually the better option
